At last, summer has arrived, and it is time to think about warm-weather quaffable wines that can be enjoyed on the deck, patio, or beach.
Earlier this month, I traveled to steamy Tampa, Florida, although it was 100 degrees here in Massachusetts at the same time, to host a wine tasting event for my dear friend Melinda. The tasting focused on easy drinking summer wine while introducing her local crowd to new grape varieties. Melinda and I had a lot of fun visiting different wine shops in her area, resulting in a nice line-up of wines for the evening.
In this issue of Bottle Talk, I am sharing the list and descriptions of the wine served at this special and fun Summer Solstice party.
