Newsletter Preview
I apologize to my readers for not publishing a newsletter for several months. As you will learn from the coming newsletter, I have had a busy few months of travel and exceptional individual experiences.

Here is a newsletter preview, and some of what I have been up to:

Share in my first visit to Spain, which included touring through the DOCa Priorat Wine Region:
|
We spent a total of three weeks in Spain in May. Starting in Barcelona, Priorat, and Tarragona in the north, and finishing with ten days of biking in the southern Andalusia region of Spain.
|

I “prowled” among the vines at Panther Ridge Winery:
|
In August, owner Suzanne Farver invited me to come out for the harvest of her Pinot Noir grapes that were destined to be made into sparkling rosé. She graciously invited me to stay in her renovated artist’s studio, which sits just steps from her home and offers a magnificent 180-degree view of the vines from its perch on the hill. The complete account of this adventure into viticulture will be revealed.

A wedding anniversary celebration on Cape Ann and Martha’s Vineyard with delicious food and wine:

My husband Ron and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in August with dinner at our favorite restaurant in Gloucester, 51 Rocky Neck. Two days later, we headed to Martha’s Vineyard, where we were married, to spend a week enjoying scenic bike rides, deck lounging, and good food, wine, and friends. And we recorded a one-hour radio program on MVY Radio featuring our favorite songs and some Vineyard memories.

September brought the arrival of our first grandchild:
|
A healthy baby girl for my stepson and daughter-in-law. Grandpa Ron is thrilled and enjoys his new role in the family. We look forward to watching her grow.
|
|
|
|
Paris and the Loir Valley Chateau:
|
In October, we travelled to France, where we spent a lovely week eating, drinking, and walking many miles through Paris. We then took the train to the Loir Valley (North of the Loire) to visit friends who recently bought a chateau that looks like a castle and have moved there permanently from the USA. It was intriguing to embrace their new life for a few days.
